Goodnight Himani

I got the best phone call tonight. Himani called to tell me goodnight after her bath. I have been so busy with school, and now everyone in my house has been sick for almost a month now, even Addi. She was the one they all got it from. Usually I get everyone sick, but I am the only one thats hanging by a thread trying to stay healthy, but its not looking good.

Anyways, we talked about her dentist visit and what she got from them, and how she is helping out being a good big sister, and how she's enjoying her cousin being in town.

Still haven't met Eliana. Pretty bummed = ( but hopefully I won't get sick and willbe able to soon!

This is probably the longest we have been apart from each other.

Thank you for calling Himani! I miss you!

Previously at the Sinclair's...

It has been a while, but I've watched Gabriel and Lindsay every couple of weeks over the last couple months. I can't believe how much they have grown!
The night in March I watched them, they were so stoked to see me. We played and made tents, they each had their own and then they turned them into space ships.

These pictures are when they were in spaceship mode.
I tried really hard to tape them dancing and goofing off because they were being so good and funny that night, but every video turned into them talking about their bottoms. Those got deleted right away.

A couple of weeks ago I brought my Ipad to play with the cool "Photo Booth" app. here is what came of it... they had so much fun.

Later that night Gabriel was pretty out of control. I was singing Cops theme song, "Bad Boys" He had never heard of it before. After I stopped he started singing it, but he had his own version, it went like "Bad boys, bad boys, what are you doing?"

Disney On Ice

My friend had an extra ticket to Disney on Ice, so she asked me to go. THen at the last minute her family decided to go out of town. SO she let me take all four tickets and I invited my mom, sister and Addison. I spoiled her and bought her a Jessie hat, Jessie flag and Jessie snow cone cup. We weren't sure how well she would behave, but she sat their that whole time dancing and smiling and clapping. She loved it! We are stoked to take her to more shows.

I forgot how to load videos... again. But I have some cute 1s of her dancing.

Himani's 3rd birthday!!!!

Best friends Reunited!

I brought Addison to Himani's 3rd birthday party at Power Play. And just like I figured, they were all over each other. At first I think Himani was overwhelmed by the whole thing, but when I got her to give me a hug she started talking to Addi. They had a great time together. Stacy has better pictures of the 2 of them on her camera. This was just from my phone. When Himani started opening presents she wanted to stop and show Addison what she got. Then she received "The Hunger Caterpillar" book and brought it over and wanted me and her to read it then. The other kids thought she was going to slow so they all helped out with the present opening. We got out of there right before it was play time, because Addi needed a sleep and there was tons of kids there playing. Himani's cousin Gracie wanted to play with Addi and me too. She had never talked to me too much before, she was super adorable and helping Addi when she had a wardrobe malfunction.

Also, this was Addison's first birthday party she had went to for a friend! She didn't eat the cupcake like I thought she would, but she chugged some Sprite down though. She had a blast and looooved what was in the goodie bag. She acted like she was going to stick the eraser up her nose the whole way home until she decided to bit it off when we pulled up to the house. Goof.

Beginners' Luck

If you can't read what that ticket says, it says "$201.00"

That is my grandma Pat, my dads mom. And we all went to Argosy breakfast for my 22nd birthday. Then my whole family stayed and gambled, except Addison. It was so fun seeing my grandparents gambling. My grandparents on my mom side have slot machines at home that I have grown up playing and about 5 years ago got 2 new ones. ANYWAYS I have never known my grandma Pat to gamble. She sat with my dad at a penny slot for a while and put 5 bucks in, didn't win anything. Then my dad said, Ill give it one more shot, and walked to the dollar slots. I told him which slots Stacy and Luther pretty much win a big amount on every time. He ended up going to the one across from it, sat down and put a 20 in. Grandma Pat pulled out another $5 bill and hesitated for a while. Then she walked to the slot I told dad to go to. After a few seconds I turned around to see about grandma Pat and it was her second hit, the lights on the machine went crazy and the money just kept adding up. I yelled "Grandma you just won 201 dollars!" She said she was done and I pushed the "cash out" button for her real quick. And she went and cashed the ticket and was a happy camper! None of us can still believe it.

Tiger say Roar

Josh was suppose to surprise me and take me to the Omaha zoo for my birthday. But it decided to snow up there that weekend. SO he took off the weekend in my spring break and we went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We stayed at Turpentine Creek, Wildlife Refuge. It is a non-profit org and takes care of exotic animals, mostly big cats when someone can't anymore. Most of the animals they have, they got from someone thinking they would make a nice pet, then they get to be 600 lbs and can no longer control them. Others have been harmed by their owners, some had their teeth ripped out, or raised in tiny cages.

It was so amazing seeing them so close up. Several of them had sad stories, but it was nice to see how well they were taking care of there. They had over 100 big cats. Since we stayed there, we had our own entrance to the park, and heard the cats roar at night while lying in bed. Our room we stayed, we had to sign a waiver saying no children was staying in it because it had over $1000 worth of artwork. But When looking at the price tags on all of them, it was around $6k. Some of the cats had smaller homes than others, we asked why. They said that a ideal habitat for them cost $22,000. So they pretty much just rely on donations and have to save enough to build more homes. It was a surprise to see that Wal-Mart and Tyson donate all of their meat and chicken. They go through 300,000lbs of it annually.

It was a great place and recommend it to anyone. It was a nice place to get away, even though I had to study on the car ride there. = /
